Beautiful Fall day in Tennessee

Early this afternoon, we hopped in the car and took a short ride to our local Greenway.  My DH took all the great pictures.  Our little dog had a delightful time.  She is now taking her afternoon nap.  Within an hour of arriving back home, the sun disappeared and it's cloudy.  Our timing was perfect.

The top 2 pictures look like they would be good for landscape quilts.
