I have spent the last week preparing (3) quilt tops and backings for machine quilting. My DH asked me what I wanted for my birthday this year and I said I wanted to get all of my UFO's machine quilted. Thankfully, I chose to start with only three. My goodness, it took quite a bit of time to find and prepare the backings for each one. I still need to cut the battings before Wednesday morning. I'm just posting a picture of one of the tops, along with the backing I chose. One of our guild members, Ann, recently passed away and the back that I'm using was one of her fabrics. Ann had the most beautiful fabrics and all her fabrics had been pre-washed. This is the Gunderson Reunion Quilt.
