SCRAPS--I've been working on scraps. Friday, I opened one small tin and discovered 16 disappearing 9-patch blocks that I created but found them to be "too bright" for my liking. So, I created a small baby quilt (36 inches square). It was easy to finish on Saturday, using a few scraps for the binding, which just happened to match both the front and back, since the back is a panel showing a beach scene with seagulls. The back is very calming!

Also in the tin, were about 100 scrap pieces from when I die-cut the triangles for my sister's table runner. There was just too much fabric to just throw them away, so I checked on-line for some type of pattern. I found these trees. Using the Tri-Rec Ruler set by Darlene Zimmerman and Joy Hoffman, I squared the pieces.
Great projects. The baby quilt is super cute.
