Design Wall Monday

My 365 Quilty Circle Project is up to date through Saturday, June 4th.  The (3) rows I have pictured include April 30th, through June 4th for a total of 36 HST with a circle and journal entry related to that day.

Quilty Circles from 043016 through 060416

The next picture is of a QOV  "in process".  I started making this quilt in mid April 2015 and wrote about it on my DWM post dated 04/20/2015.  All it needs is a narrow red border all the way around and a wider blue border as the final border all the way around.  I had been using a nice white muslin for the backs and had recently purchased a entire bolt of 90" wide to be used for my QOV projects.  I recently found out that I must use a white on white fabric instead of white muslin.   One of my friends from my sewing group is going up to Whittles Fabrics located in Smiths Grove, Kentucky and plans to look for some 90" fabric that will be suitable for my QOV projects.

  1. Everytime I see the pretty star made up, I think to myself 'you really need to make one of those' as I love it so. Yours is beautiful!!

    1. Thank you for your comment. The star is quite easy, since it is just 6" squares and HST finished at 6". The border HST's finish at 4". At the moment, I'm not sure how big the final border will be but the quilt top should finish at 60" x 72".
