It was wonderful to be able to attend Christmas Day Worship Service this morning and we had close to a full house.
Poinsettias decorated the Worship Fellowship Hall. I was able to bring one of the poinsettias home, so I thought a little history about the beautiful bright red flowers might be nice to know. The shape of the poinsettia flower and leaves are sometimes thought as a symbol of the Star of Bethlehem which led the Wise Men to Jesus. The red colored leaves symbolize the blood of Christ.
