After all these years of quilting, I have never made a Potato Chip quilt. Our weekly sewing group was given several large boxes of fabric to use. I chose to cut this floral and found several solids that matched. When I wasn't sure what to make, my friend Bonnie suggested the Potato Chip quilt. I can't wait to see how it turns out. I've already run out of the green fabric scraps. I have 3 different shades of pink and 2 shades of blue. The goal is to use up the solid scraps from the donations and my stash.

I've not heard of a potato chip quilt. I've used potato chip fabric as the back of the quilt though!
ReplyDeleteThose blocks are cute, and I'm guessing just one isn't enough! I've used the same block and cut into quarters to make Patience Corner.
The colours look great together.
Thank you for your comment. I am glad you like the colors. I finished the top with 20 blocks by adding another small floral for the 4 corner blocks with cream sashing. I am happy with the way it turned out and hope to complete another one with smaller blocks.
