Design Wall Monday

Cobblestone Quilt top complete.  Hooray!!  I had a difficult time choosing the fabrics, so it took way longer to make the top.  I used scraps and many charm squares cut in half.  All pieces were cut 2 1/2" x 5".
My first post about this quilt was on June 16, 2014.  I do like how the center is medium in color with light fabrics surrounding the center and darker pieces on the outside.

The quilt can be found in Edyta Sitar's book, Scrappy Fireworks Quilts.  Her quilt was much larger and of course, I loved the fabrics she chose for her quilt.

  2. Thank you for your comments. I donated this quilt top to our weekly sewing group for sandwiching and tying. I love sewing the tops but then have problems finishing them.
