Selvages

I've been saving "selvages" for at least 10 years, in hopes of making a selvage quilt.  I found a neat photo on-line but after making one section, I realized that it would take too much time and thought process to figure out how to create the cute little cube with 3-D effects, so I've scrapped that idea.

However, this afternoon, I found a nice Selvage Quilt Tutorial by Carla Barrett.  You can find it by searching  https://featheredfibers.wordpress.com/2009/02/22/selvage-quilt-wip-mini-tutorial/
You may need to search "Tutorials" at the top of the page to find it faster.
Stay tuned to see how long it takes me to use up these selvages.

Her website is also very interesting if you enjoy reading about sailing and sailboats.
