Table Runner wedding gift

Piano Keys Table Runner
Before I posted the pic of this table runner, I wanted to make sure the young couple received it.  I missed both her bridal shower and wedding, so her gift was delivered via her new brother-in-law.  She and her husband both love music, so when I found the pieced heart design on-line and remembered I had the piano keys fabric in my stash, I was delighted to make their gift.  Yes, she loved it!  Mackenzie was in the Quilt Class that I taught at church last year.  She brought the class to life with her young spirit and energy.

  1. Jody,
The hearts are made with half square triangles. The 2 large squares of the bottom part of the heart, each measure 4" finished and the 4 small squares at the top of the hearts measure 2" finished. Each heart block measures 8" across and 6" down. The piano keys was fabric I found, so I added it as a border to the hearts and then added the black as a tiny border and then the final black & white border. There was no actual pattern.

  2. I don't know how I missed this one. I LOVE that table runner. You did a great job putting those elements together.
