Design Wall Monday

The last couple of days, I've been working on The Grand Illusion Mystery Quilt, designed by Bonnie Hunter.
This is Part 3 with the green, black, and neutral squares.  I've enjoyed pulling out numerous fabrics from my stash.  So far, I have 63 units completed.  The pattern calls for 120 units.  Bonnie's quilt finished at 88" x 88".
I don't really need a quilt that large, so I may make it a bit smaller.  We shall see.......

    1. Glad you like the different colors. Trying to use scraps that are smaller than a fat quarter. Today I worked on getting 81 blocks done of Part 3. The individual squares were cut 2" and after sewing the 8 squares together, you have an unfinished block measuring 3.5" x 6.5". Now I'm going back to Part 2.

    1. My Blog header quilt is called the Art Deco Lady. Made for my sister-in-law. I got the pattern out of a stained glass book. I'm sure I kept the book for future reference but cannot find it since I put it in a nice safe place. The book also had a neat looking golfer from the 1920's.

  3. I'm not doing this quilt (know many who are), but it looks like a great scrap buster.
