I'm embarrassed that I allowed so much time to escape these projects. Most of the fabric and photos were in one Project Box. I'm not sure when I transferred the photos onto the fabric (most likely it was in 2015).
I had chosen the design and fabric for the borders around each photo. Then life happened and everything was stashed away.
Thankfully this morning, I discovered the beginnings of two Photo Transfer Quilts for my friend and her daughter. The black fabric was in the Project Box with the photos. After searching through several fabric baskets, I found the white fabric that I had used for the borders on the first couple of photos. I knew it would be wonderful to use the same fabrics throughout both quilts.
If I can just keep sewing the strips around each photo, I could be done with the photo blocks by this evening and then I can design the quilts.
