Thankfully, no one mentioned April Fool's Day to me and no jokes were exchanged. Hooray!
Our Sewing Group plans to sew 1,600 inch quilt tops next week. After all that cutting, I assumed we had plenty of strips to sew together. Just to make sure, I began sorting and counting the strips, knowing we needed 20 light strips and 20 dark strips. I discovered we have enough light strips to make 16 quilt tops, if we have 20 dark/bright strips to go along with the light strips. We are lacking in dark/bright strips, so more are needed. We will be working on finding dark and bright strips to be cut and used next Tuesday.
